Using Start-AzureSQLDatabaseImport cmdlet  to import a database from cloud storage gives the following error: 

Start-AzureSqlDatabaseImport : ForbiddenError: The server failed to authenticate the request. Verify that the certificate is valid and is associated with this subscription.

The sql context and storage context are good and work with fine with other cmdlets

Any ideas?

Looks like an issue with your certificates. Please make sure your certs are not expired or deleted. If yes, then follow the instructions here.

If you are using Azure Automation, can you try following the directions here (if you have IIS), or here (if don't have IIS)?
