Standalone CA Authority uninstall
Hello,
I have installed Standalone CA Authority on my DC, but bymistake i have created wrong name for the CA, and the Certificates i have issued to other servers i removed it, can someone please tell me how to change the CA Authority name or can i unistall the
CA Authority ?

you cannot change CA name without AD CS reinstallation. You need to remove Certification Authority role and install it again. During CA role installation you will be prompted for CA name and additional DN suffix.
BTW, in Active Directory environment it is recommended to deploy Enterprise CA, instead of Standalone. Standalone CA is recommended for offline CAs (Root and Policy).http://en-us.sysadmins.lv

My CA Authority is under child DC, and my Enterprise CA Authority is in other country.
If i will uninstall CA authority from my child DC, does it make any issues, as of now i have stopped the CA Authority services and also deleted the certificate issued by my current CA Authority. every thing is running fine.

only one issue is that all existing certificates will become invalid.

no matter, it is recommended to deploy Enterprise CA, because only Enterprise CA is able to issue certificates based on predefined templates and can automatically issue certificates to user, computers and services.http://en-us.sysadmins.lv
