Standalone CA 2008 R2 non-persistent requests
Hi I Have installed New 2008 R2 Standalone (domain-joined) Subca servers for NAP.As I understod the R2 would support non-persistent requests but I can only find how to configure this for Enterprise CA.Is there any way to use this in a standalone-CA or do I need to install Enterprise CA to support this?/Johan

With R2, there is no need to use a stanadalone CA any more.
The R2 CA has added a new tab to CA certificates allowing you to not plafce NAP requests in the CA database and to not perform revocation checking on NAP requests (too short lived and not really necessary for health certificates).
The standalone CA solution was a way prior to the R2 CA to ensure that you did not pollute your production cA database with NAP issued certificates.

But still, is it possible to enable Non-Persistent Certificate Processing on a stand-alone CA or do I have to migrate it to an Enterprise CA?
In other words, is the template-setting the only way not to store certificates on the CA database?Tom Aafloen, IT-security Consultant Onevinn AB
