Sql Server Vm and Licensing

I created a Sql 2014 VM  (New > Compute > Sql Server 2014 Enterprise on Windows).  Suppose we use that DB as our backend to our Internet presence. What is the sql licensing reality for this setup? (Are we fully covered? Or do we need to buy processor licenses as we don't know how many end users will be accessing the DB?)

TIA,

Azam,

I don't believe the URL answer the question because the Sql Server I am referring to comes as part of the VM on Microsoft Azure (I pay so mayny $ per min to use it).  The URL refers to on-premise and virtual sql but that is not the case here..

Thank you. My question related to VM  licensing on Azure using a VM provided by Microsoft which already included sql server. The question is whether under those circumstances the URL you indicated even applies  (the url does not seem to have any awareness of Azure -- appears to be on-premises or if one adds their own copy of sql server to a VM).
