Hi, Please right click on C:\Windows\system32\lsihok64.dll, click Properties and switch to Details tab to check where it came from? Generally, this issue can be caused by the corrupt Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package. We can uninstall and reinstall it to fix the issue. You failed to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package could be caused due to it was not uninstalled completely or third party software conflict. If you have not restarted the computer after uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package, please try to restart the computer and reinstall it again. If it does not work, I would like to suggest you run Process Monitor during the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package on another computer to monitor what files and registry entries are added and manually remove them from the problematic computer. Before that, please backup the registry to avoid unexpected issue. You may download Process Monitor from the following link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx You may also try to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package in Clean Boot to remove the possible third party software conflict. For the detailed steps of how to perform a Clean Boot environment, please refer to the following steps: 1. Click Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. 2. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password or click Continue. 3. On the General tab, click Selective startup. 4. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the Load startup items check box. 5. Click the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all. 6. Click OK, and then click Restart. What is the result in Clean Boot?
