Show alerts for multiple targets/objects in same alert view

Hi!

I want to show two types of alerts in one alert view.

Say that I target one alert view to the object windows computers and then I also want to add network devices to that view. Is this possible? I have scom 2007 and 2012.

You can't do exactly that, but you have two options :

- Create a dashboard with 2 cells and use State widgets

- Use this to create a "Scom 2007-style" dashboard with 2 state views : http://www.systemcentercentral.com/creating-opsmgr-2007-r2-style-dashboard-views-in-opsmgr-2012-scom-sysctr/

The other option is to create a group that contains multiple classes and scope by group rather than class.

1) Create a group with all windows Computers and Network device group as sub-group

2) In the alert view, select step 1) group in Show data contained a specific group and make sure that show data related to Object
