Sharing stops every 2 hours
Hi, We are experiencing a problem on one of our servers, it is working properly, however, after 2 to 3 hours we cannot connect to the server share. We have to restart the server to be able to connect to it again. In the event viewer, event w32time 0x800706BA RPC server unavailable pop up at the time the sharing stops. Any idea? Thank youSystems Engineer

Hello, let's compare ipconfig /all from the server and a problem client.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

everything is ok with ipconfig /all on the clients and server. the problem is on the server not the client. When the sharing stops, all workstations on the network cannot connect to the server, however, we can ping the server from any location.Systems Engineer

Hi Rony, Please verify the server's Firewall is started properly. You may also try restart the Windows Firewall service and disable/enable the NIC to see if the issue persists.
