Hi thanks in advance, I need some information on scalability of sharepoint 2013 search 

1. How much content can it search ?

2.If there are thousands of indexed items does it scale?

3. If the indexed data is too old (more than X months), does it scale?

4. The SharePoint topology (farm) that can support the search API
