   I am new to Sharepoint 2013 search, I would like to create following result types with the following conditions.

1. Staff   
          only from http://samplesite.com/sitecollection/staffsubsite

2. Events
         only from http://samplesite.com/sitecollection/Staffsubsite/Event 

3. Organization
         only from http://samplesite.com/sitecollection/Orgsubsite/

4. General
         all the links other than above sites

Can anyone please guide what and how I can do it?

Query transform section would allow you to filter by your needed conditions.
