Shadow Copies problems

Hello,

Our Shadow copies are getting deleted. I have no idea why. We use a limit of 381350MB and it runs every weekday at 6am. It is also stored on the same volume. I know it's not ideal, but we have no where else to put it.

Recent event log details.

Message: The shadow copy of volume F: could not grow its shadow copy storage on volume F:

The latest and only copy we have is on 18/06/2014 and is 2.9GB.
We have 1266.93 free storage left on the drive (F:)
Windows 2008r2

I tried vssadmin list writer - all stable and no errors.
vssadmin list providers -

Provider name: 'Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider 1.0'
   Provider type: System
   Provider Id: {b5946137-7b9f-4925-af80-51abd60b20d5}
   Version: 1.0.0.7

Shouldn't it delete the oldest versions until it can save the new shadow copy?

Any help is appreciated. If you need more information, please let me know.

Cheers

Sam
