How do we set up sendmail in a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SUA environment? We have successfully sent ourselves email from this windows server. We are attempting to get mailx / sendmail working under SUA. We have changed the smart host in our /etc/mail/ sendmail.cf # "Smart" relay host (may be null) DSmail.abt.com We are trying to start our sendmail deamon and we get the error below: $ ./sendmail start sendmail started $ 550 Permission denied (real uid not trusted) How do we set up sendmail on Windows server 2008 R2 Standard SUA environment? I will try that link also. I believe I know the steps to set up sendmail but it is Windows SUA that is returning the security error. It was Microsoft who sent me to this forum.
