Setting up sync error Password

I'm setting up a Sync between my on premise server and a Azure database on Location East US 2 and every time i submit the password for the Hub is telling me that the password is wrong, which i know is not true cause i'm connected to that database from my SQL Server Client using the same username and password.

Plus I can setup a sync to a different database on a different server.  Below the details:

Agent Subscription is Pay-As-You-Go on East US Location

Database Server Subscription is 12-Month-Plan on East US 2 Location

What can cause the error for the password if I can connect from my Client to the database using the same username and password?

Can you just upload the error snapshot? Btw, just to comfirm, is the on-premise db's ip following the allowed IP rules configured on the Azure SQL?

Hi,

For the specific SQL server, did you allow windows azure service to connect it? There is an option to do that in SQL server on the portal.

Bowen
