Setting FTP using NON-standard Port on Windows Server 2008 fails to connect from internet.
Hi
I have a problem setting up ftp server using NON-Standard Port on windows server 2008 r2 machine.
I did configure ftp server before using standard port 21. still that setup works fine internally and externally.
This time I added another ftp site with port 6021 and tested inside our network like
ftp://192.xxx.xxx.xxx:6021 works perfectly; it is not a problem but to access externally using public address like (ftp://123.xxx.xxx.xxx:6021) the page fails. when I check the
server remotely i can see ftp session with passive mode connection established but the connection refuses or blocks. Even if I disable the firewall temporarily nothing change, I don't know to fix.
Port forwarding on the Router = 6021/TCP/Server IP/Enabled
Created inbound rule Port 6021/TCP on the firewall
NO outbound rule created.
PS: I know network schema both private public IP addresses.
any help.

I'd ask FTP setup questions here.
