Two of my servers running Data Protection Manager 2010 install updates successfully but upon reboot, initiliazition of updates fails after hanging at 33% for 2 hours. Hello, Id suggest you turn off any non-Microsoft software and install these updates one at a time. After each one, reboot the server and check if the same problem reoccurs. When the same problem occurs again, the last update installed is the culprit. We will have to analyze the WindowsUpdate.log and event logs for more information.
