Server not communicating with monitor
I am using a windows server 2003. The server was last used on Friday 24th September and was working and responding fine. Since yesterday I can get the server to power on but it will not display anything on the monitor and i get a message on the moinitor
saying "No input Signal".
I have opened up the case to have a look and everything seems to be connected and the fans are spinning correctly but cannot get the server to communicate with the monitor. I have tried the monitor with another PC and it works so i know that the monitor
is working.
Please advise.
Thanks
Ketan

bad video card? if it's not integrated into the motherboard try swapping it, or at least reseat it.
bad cable (computer to display)? was this part of your monitor test?
do you hear any beeps whe the server starts?

Did you try a known-good monitor on the server?
If not the monitor... it's your video card or motherboard.

Hi,
As Roy and Steve said, this should be a hardware issue.
Since the monitor is good, you will need to check the video card, cable and motherboard problem.
Based on the current situation, you had better contact the hardware vendor to diagnose and replace the damaged hardware device for you.
It is inconvenience for us to diagnose the hardware issue in forum.
