Server is shutting down
My windows 2000 server is shutting down automatically. I don't want it to shut down. The server that I'm using is HP Proliant ml350 g4.

start the server in safe mode, and check event logs. Corrupt registry entries might shut down server some time. What did you change recently?Amol

How frequently does it gets shut down? is it get shutdown like in 1 hour or once in a day. follow the below steps for the analysis. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. Click the Advanced tab, and then click the Startup and Recovery button. Click Write Debugging Information, and then click to select either Complete Memory Dump, Kernel Memory Dump, or Small Memory Dump. Click Start->Run...-> type msconfig and press Enter 2. Click Services tab and select Hide All Microsoft Services and Disable All third party Services. 3. Click Startup tab and Disable All startup items 4. Click OK and choose Restart 5.
