Server hangs on soft reboot
I have been running windows server 2008 standard from Dreamspark for a while now and I've noticed that when it is rebooted it will shutdown and hang just after the green loading bar at a black screen the only out is to hold the power button and do a cold boot. I can shut it down fully and start it up again fine. here is the error log from event viewer:

Hi,Please boot the computer into Sate mode to test whether it works properly:
If the problem continues, please collect the MPSReport of the problematic server. Please add detailed steps for the above suggestions in your reply. Thanks.
How to use the MPSReport tool
1. Download proper MPS Report tool from the website below.

2. Double-click to run it, if requirement is not met, please follow the wizard to download and install them. After that, click Next, when the "Select the diagnostics you want to run" page appears, select "General" and Business Networks, click Next.
3. After collecting all log files, choose "Save the results", choose a folder to save <Computername>MPSReports.cab file. Please use Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/) to upload the file and then give us the download address.

In safe mode it gets past the text and hangs at a black screen immediately following. Here is the MPSReport download .

Did you ever get an answer for this problem. I'm running Sharepoint 2007 on 2008 standard SP2 and the server froze, had to hold power button down. Same error message "
