Server crash, now Win2008 says not activated with 0xc004e003

This has been activated and running for years, so I'm naturally concerned with what else might not be working.

How can I activate/repair this?  It would save some time rather than having to rebuild it

NOTE:  If I run "slgui", the activation key is blank (so I can't activate via the phone)

I would recommend starting with that and trying again: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7759642/reset-windows-activation-remove-license-key

If this does not help then I would recommend contacting a Microsoft License Activation Center in your country by phone for assistance.

Hi,

Any update about the issue?

Did you type slui 4.exe into Search box and press Enter to check the result?

Regards.

@Mr X -- That post had some good details.  However, I still have the same result (cannot activate)
March 23rd, 2015 11:15am

I have tried the following:

slmgr /upk
slmgr /cpky
slmgr /rearm

(per the StackOverflow reference above), and that doesn't help.  Automated activation fails, and the phone activation screen show:

Hi,

You need to enter the confirmation ID numbers given to you over the phone into the "Windows Activation" wizard.

Did you try it and next?

Regards.

See the screenshot above.  There's no numbers for me to enter on the call.

Hi,

If you could not activate the server using telephone.

For licensing related issue, youd better contact Microsoft licensing team. In the United States and Canada, you may call the licensing team directly at 1-800-426-9400 (select option 4), Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. (PST) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist. In this way, you will know the detailed information about license.
Worldwide customers can use the Guide to Worldwide Microsoft Licensing Sites http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/worldwide.aspx to find contact information in their locations.

Thank you for your understanding!

Regards.
