Server Management console gone?
Hello everybody I have a Windows 2003 small business server SP1 at work with 5 CAL. Recently we purchased another 5 CAL and naturally I wanted to install them. I tried running Licensing from the Administrative tools but I got a dialog box saying that I must use the Add New Licenses wizard.Next I was told that this wizard can be started from the server management console, which is supposed to lie somewhere on the START menu. Alas, such a shortcut is nowhere to be found on the START menu. So, I`m stuck with 5 new CALs that I cannot install. Any ideas on how I might proceed?George Papadopoulos

Dear George,
Here is the executable "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\Administration\LaunchConsole.exe"
Try running that.
Your post should be in an SBS forum though.
Cheers,

Unfortunately, I do not seem to have such a directory or executable. Could it be that operating system hasn`t been correctly installed. I can confirm that this is a small business server edition of Windows server 2003 and it is now running SP2.
Sorry about the misplacement of the post. Can I move it somehow to the correct forum?

Unfortunately there isn't a way to forward this thread. Here is the link to get to the Small Business Server news group.
