Server Caching?
I have sort of a weird question, cause I have never seen this before. But we are updating files in our staging and development servers. When we navigate to the share using the full path, meaning we type "//xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/" we see the updated files. But if we start typing the same share and use the suggestions that pop up in the window, it brings up old files, same share, but old files. Why? We are using Windows Vista/7 of course, so we are typing the shares in the search under the start menu.

It is just a normal shared folder on a server. Not DFS.

Hi, Files update almost simultaneously with the files on the server no matter which way we use to connect to the shared files. So could you please use another user and computer respectively to rule out the possibilities of user's or computer's settings? I am looking forward to your further result. Best regards, Jane
