Server 2008 upgrade
Hello, I currently have a windows 2000 server acting as my domain controller, DNS server and small intranet web server. I am looking into upgrading it to server 2008 R2 but can't seem to find much on how to do it. I realize I can't upgrade the existing server directly to 2008 so my plan was to purchase a new server, install 2008 and move the necessary info such as active directory and what not and then demote the 2000 DC. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so point me in the right direction on how to do it. Thanks, Scott
