I have a 2008 server w/ a second data partition. On that share everything opens a read only across the network. Admins, domain admins, users etc. files on the root partition are fine it is just the data partition share (and any other shares on that partition) Ive looked at the share properties and the user rights it all looks good... any hints? We need to check the shared permissions and NTFS permissions: Please use CACLS command to view the NTFS permission and post the result here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb490872.aspx Please also check if the shared permissions have been set correct. In this case, please also use the \\Servername\shared folder name command to acces these folders on Windows Server 2008 to check if this issue will occur. Thanks, Miles
