Server 2008 foundation
Hi all
I am just about to set up a bit of a lab for wireless configurations and security, etc. I have a Server 2008 foundation (standard as well) licence and software and wondering if this is capable of supporting 802.1x, AD, TS, etc. I understand the physical
machine will limit this, but can foundation support all these role's?
Thanks, Cragp

Hi,
Windows Server 2008 Foundation supports all those roles with some limits that are reported here

Thanks Edoardo
It seems that it will be exacly what I am looking for, a light weight version of standard 2008.
It states that it cannot be virtualised, would this also apply if I were using a ESXI box for virtualisation? Not saying this is what I will be doingg, but nice to know!

Foundation cannot be virtualized with Hyper-V thus, i think, it can be virtualized under other virtualization environment.
