I am unable to activate server 2008 R2 std. We use a proxy server and have set the system proxy configuration. When calling the activation team and trying the pne option I do not get an installation ID and the A-H boxes are empty. When I try to activate from the system panel I get error code 0x80070005. When I try "other ways to activate" I get error code 0x0000061 7 days left to acivate. The activation support line said I had some software issue

Assuming you have genuine software, then I would guess either a virus/trojan or malware/spyware. Try running Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware and scanning for viruses with whatever virus scanner you have.
