I'm having trouble logging in to my Server 2008 PDC.
When trying to log in, I'm greeted with the following promp : An attempt was make to logon, but the network logon service was not started.
This happens is Safe Mode, as well as Safe Mode with Networking. I need to login in to safe mode for troubleshooting reasons. Normal login works fine.
Why doesn't the netlogon service start ? As far as I can understand the netlogon service is supposed to start. When logging into a member server in "safe mode with networking' everything works fine.
Is there a way to start the netlogon service or logging in to my server in safe mode ?
