Server 2008 De-licencing
Hi all I've not been able to find this anywhere, is it possible to de-licence a server so the entire thing can be sole to another company for them to put their own licences on it? It's running Hyper-V, I will be taking off the virtual machines, scrubbing the encrypted volumes, but I'd like to put it out as a going concern with the host OS intact because it will be moving from one charity to another, and I just know the recipient won't re-licence it themselves unless forced to. Cheers Martin

Hiya, Slmgr.vbs Options http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff793433.aspx /upk [ActivationID] This option uninstalls the product key of the current Windows edition. After a restart, the system will be in an Unlicensed state unless a new product key is installed. Optionally, you can use the [Activation ID] parameter to specify a different installed product. This operation must be run from an elevated command prompt.
