Server 2003 Userenv 1500 Error
Hello all, I've just startedhaving an issue with logging a new user on for the first time. When I do I get a USERENV 1500 error with the Detail : There is not enoughspace on the disk. But the server has over 1.5 gigsfree.I'm running Server 2003 AD and Terminal Servers with Roaming Profiles. I've never had an issue before but it has just startedpopping up.Users that already have a profile have noissue logging in. I'm running Citrix PS4.5 but theerror occurs if I use ICA or RDP. If I make the new user a Domain Admin they can at least get in but it creates them a TEMP Profile.I downloaded the Regclean tool from MS and installed it and that helped with profiles that would not unload. I don't know if it's something the ref tool does or an update I've applied. Anyone else run into the same issues? ThanksTS

I already have the Registry Service Running .. And this is happening now with all the new users I try to log on. I've deleted and recreated the user numerous times and no change. I even made the user without a roaming profile and still get the same error.
Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, or that your network is functioning correctly. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.
DETAIL - There is not enough space on the disk. But I still have over 1.5 gigIt won't let the user even log on .. Thanks

Hello SincaiN,
It seems that this is an resource depletion issue. If the issue still exists with the above suggestion, please start Registry Editor and add the following entries on the problematic server. Afterwards, please a new user account and reboot the server to check if the issue will re-occur.
1) Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management"PoolUsageMaximum" = dword:00000030"PagedPoolSize" = dword:ffffffff
2) Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management Configure the following entries: Name: SessionViewSize Data Type: REG_DWORD Value data: 120 (decimal) Note The default value is 20 megabytes (MB). Increase it by multiples 16 MB as needed.
3) Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management Configure the following entries: Name: SessionPoolSize Data Type: REG_DWORD Value data: 60 (decimal) Note The default value is 16 MB. Increase it by multiples 16 MB as needed.
Hope it helps.Your potential. Our passion.

OK, I know it's an old post, but there are still people searching the forums for resolutions. Today I was baffled with the very same issue: Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, or that your network is functioning correctly. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator. DETAIL - There is not enough space on the disk. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. I had about 1 gig of free space so I was confused. As it turns out my server had blue screened recently and generated a massive 3 GB memory dump file. Where did it store this file? In the C:\Documents and Settings\Default User folder! Whenever you log on it tries to copy everything from Default User to your profile. Since I didn't have enough space to duplicate this 3GB file, I got the error. To check, just browse to C:\Documents and Settings. Right Click on "Default User" folder and view properties. It's typically 2mb. Don't delete the folder entirely, because you need a Default User directory. Just hunt for any massive files.
