Server 2003 - disk space problem
Windows Server 2003 EE 64bit My Server 2003 machine is for Oracle database. On that machine I have one partition/disk (from storage) for export. Before I create new export I delete old with these commands: DEL /Q D:\DB_EXPORT\EXPORT.DMP DEL /Q D:\DB_EXPORT\EXPORT.log Today I have problem with disk space on this D disk. I delete old export but Windows still tell me that on D disk I have only 20GB free space (D disk is 60GB, I delete my export file of 40GB). I defragment the D disk, clean everything with Disk Cleanup and again nothing. Please suggest what to do, Thanks in Advance!

Might be some file system corruption. You may need to run chkdsk /r from the recovery console. Regards, Dave Patrick .... Microsoft Certified Professional -Microsoft MVP [Windows]
