Server 2003
Hello, I am trying to update windows server 2003 to sp2 but it appears my C drive does not have enough memory and I am unable to repartition the mirrored drives to free up more memory. Will I need to purchase a new server with bigger drives? The is quite urgant as not being able to install the update means I am unable to update sophos!

you can check with windirstats (http://windirstat.info/) if there are unneeded big space wasters (log files, temp files). assuming you have more then one drive in the server, you can try to move the pagefile, which is by default on c but can reside on other drives too (only have german w2k3 here atm, but pagefile can be changed here (not exact translation): winkey + pause, advanced, system performance, settings, advanced)

Hello, how large is the drive? Is this a complete disk or a volume on a disk that maybe can be expanded?Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
