Server 2003
I have a 2003 Ent. Server SP2 - I made the mistake of running a utility called "CleanUp 4.0" The server is still functional as far as I can tell, but I can no longer login to it. I can still see shares, still print to printers from it.
I can not login to it from the keyboard or remote desktop. I have two servers, I can still login to the other one. Any help or suggestions would be AWESOME!!!

have you tried the Domain Admin account and local Administrators account? since it appears to be working I'm hesitant to suggest rebooting or rebooting in safe mode. do you have a service account that has local administrator rights?

I did try the local "Administrator" login, it also fails. It starts to login, pauses, then logs out back to the ctrl alt del screen. I just ran a full backup, system backup over the weekend. I have two server on the same domain, the other
I can login, I even tried to remote desktop from it, that also failed.

I suggest these troubleshooting steps
From your workstation try "connect to another computer" in computer manager and check the local groups, users, etc. Also check the event logs. Use the domain admin account. my guess is that login will still fail. A reboot will be my next action

Hello,
what is installed exactly on this server?
It is mentioned that you have to backup your server before running the clean up tool: http://www.stevengould.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=70
Anyway, you can restore your system state from the backup that you have already performed.
