Currently are we busy setting up an Windows Azure Pack.

Until there is everything working fine.

Now we want to send out an email once the VM is deployed, towards the end-user or administrator.

Has somebody already done this?

Hi Daniel,

Base on my experience, it seems Windows azure portal didn't support send mail to user when VM is deployed. I guess you may need create the application to meet your idea. You could use the 3rd party tool  to send mail such as sendgrid and so on.

Also, I suggest you can submit a feature suggestion on http://www.mygreatwindowsazureidea.com/forums/34192-windows-azure-feature-voting.

I know that indeed Azure can not handle this.

But I'm speaking about Windows Azure Pack, in which I can create a script to send out a mail.

It seems that the job is not triggerd to run when a deployment of a VM is finished.
