Send a Message to a User
Hi Everyone,We are using a Win 2008 Enterprise Server as Terminal Server Application Server and we have a user that would like to send messages via the Task Manager window to other users. The problem is when he tries to send a message, he recieves:Your message to user <Username> (SessionID=SessionID) could not be sent. Access is denied.A user who is part of the Administrators group can send a message with no problem so only a standard user can't for some reason. After reseaching the problem I came across this article:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754124.aspxBut under the heading Additional Considerations it states: Additional considerations You must have Message special access permission to send a message to a user. What does Message special access permission mean? And how do I grant the user "Message special access permission"?Any help would be most appreciated...Duke
