I have a problem with my Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2. The Network Adapter connected to the Modem cannot get a dhcp address. This is really sudden, hasn't happened before. I checked the Event Viewer->System and found that I get the "Semaphore timed out" error. What would be the solution to this problem?

there are actually quite a few services which can be associated with this or similar error. is this in a 1058 or 1030 event? could you please post the text of the event with your proprietary names removed? /rich http://cbfive.com/blog
