I have a query about event log size - we've set the default "Security" log size of our servers to 130MB. What we find is on the logs properties page there's a value "Log Size" and that fluctuates eg. goes from a few MB's to 100MB onwards however it doesn't seem to reach 130MB. Can anyone advise how the log file works if we set the events to "overwrite". Does it keep growing until it reaches 130MB and then returns to 0 and then grow again if we look at the "Log Size" value in the properties - because were just wondering how come it doesn't show the configured size of 130MB.
