Security Profile-Permissions
We use a program called Medispan. To set this up on each client we have to use inherited permissions and add "delete subfolders and files" to the profile. Since our last Microsoft Update, everytime we try to do this on a new profile, it adds an additional
Power Users profile and adds the above to it with no other permissions. Why is this and is there a way to fix it?

Hi John,
To get a better understanding, please help to provide more information:
1.
How did you configure the inherited permissions and "delete subfolders and files"? By group policy or manually configure it? Did you configure these permissions
on user profile folder?
2.
Please check what Microsoft update has been installed.
3.
Do you mean that currently it not only adds the permissions you want, but also adds an power users profile?
Regards,
Bruce

Bruce,
We configred the settings through the properties folder for the program in C drive. We are current on our updates. We have WSUS set up to take care of notifications for updates. I mean that it adds a second Power Users profile with
the one permissions checked (delete subfolders and files) and nothing else. On the original profile nothing has been changed.
Thanks

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply.
Please check what Microsoft update has been installed when the issue started to happen. You may open the Add or Remove Programs or
windowsupdate.log to find the updates and the time they were installed.

Bruce
