Security - SPP service is starting related network dropouts
I am troubleshooting a problem with a SBS 2011 server. Clients accessing the MYOB file on the server are continually finding that there connection to the server gets disconnected and then reconnected within a few seconds. There are no errors in event viewer and the only thing I can find that indicates there was some communication at the time of the dropout is the Security-SPP event occuring on the both the client and the server at the same time. Could this be causing the intermittent network dropouts? clients are varied between Win 7, Vista and XP they are also losing there mapped network drives and get disconnected from Exchange. There are 4 events that occur on the server at the time of the dropout, these also occur on the client. 1.The software protection service is starting 2.The software protection service has started - 6.1.7600.20751 3.The Software Protection service has completed licensing status check. 4. Initialization status for service objects.
