SecureRefernce

Customer monitors all applications using SQL Queries. To do this SQL Server default account is used.

Created SecureRefrence for each application using these credentials and is working fine.

Is there a way around this by creating only one which can be used for all MPs?

Thanks

Hi, you can specify Default Action Account, and not specify account for each profile. So default action account will be used for each workflow

Hi

yes you can do it by granting permissions to default action account on all sql server, by default scom agent will run all rule and monitors using action account if action account do not have permissions you need to create and configure runas account and profiles.

SQL is very critical for any environment i do not suggest to grant  full permissions on sql for default action account due to security.

I have created a monitor with powersehll script for running the sql query using the runas account. How can I check it is running with that account in logs? As the results are in incorrect. Outside SCOM the results are correct.

Also why the healthy condition is not automatically corrected in a monitor? How can this be ensured in a custom MP?
