Secondry DNS server have stale incorrect entries.
We have one standard primary server with four secondry associated with it, I was foxed today to when a user suggested that one record is not resolving from name to IP but from IP to name was working fine, I checked the IP and it was from a DHCP scope that we recently modified. We then checked all the 5 servers; and what we found was quite surprising, the server hosting the standard primary zone was not resolving the name in either way (both fwd lookup and reverse lookup) but two of the four servers were resolving the reverse lookup request. I tried reload from master, transfer from master both; it is of no use, Can anyone please help on this? Many thanks, MayankRegards, Mayank

Please check event viewer so see which are the logged errors. Also, make sure that your client computers are pointing to the wanted DNS servers to be used as DNS servers.
