I'm attempted to automate creating some VMs from templates. I went through the steps in the GUI and then copied the script at the end. When I run this script, it creates a hardware profile as well as a new template, but then it leaves them in the library. When I run through the GUI, there is not a hardware profile or template in the library. When I look at the logs, it shows another step "remove resources" that is deleting the profile and template. Does anyone know why the copied script doesn't do this?

It is by design and normal .

That "Script" doesn't show all actions (such as the creation of JobGroup SID and hardware profile name ).

You need to manually edit the script to complete it .
