Schannel Issue
Hello There,
I have a Windows 2008 R2 machine. and I have hosted Sharepoint 2010 on it.
I have a site which I have published over Internet.
I don't know whether it's related , but I am getting an error which I am unable to resolve or come to a conclusion. It's pretty frequent.
My server is patched up with the latest updates.

There have been a lot of posts about that one.
I believe it can be safely ignored.
There have been people saying it's related to connecting to sites with self-signed certificates. Altso people have said that it's due to an error in Internet Explorer 8 x64.Microsoft: MCP, MCTS, MCITP: SA, MCITP: EA || CIW: Associate, Security Professional || CompTIA: A+, Server+, Linux+ || Citrix: CCA on XenApp || HP: ASP, ASP:SMB || Astaro: ACA, ACE

Thank you for your reply !!
We have a third party Certificate.
What's baffling is the Secure channel Error . It suggests as if we have a registration with the AD failing issue.
I do have IE 8. Will try installing IE 9 and check .

This is SSL/TLS secure channel communication (Perhaps the mismatch of certificates). Does the whole system work as expected, or there is any lack of functionality?
I would recommend double check of http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310795.aspx and setting ssl on iis. Perhaps a bit older resource can help too http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/144/how-to-set-up-ssl-on-iis-7/
In the case that you does not resolve the problem, ask in the IIS forum.
