SYSVOL DFSR Offline too long

Hi

I currently have a problem with the SYSVOL directory on one of my domain controllers. Because of the new default behaviour in Windows Server 2012 in which it does not automatically repair the DFSR JET database, the SYSVOL directory has now been offline too long and refuses to synchronise. I know this is usually easily resolved by simply disabling the member in the DFSR group and then reenabling to perform an initial sync... however this is not possible with the SYSVOL directory. I'm not concerned about losing any GPOs on this server, I just want to perform the initial sync but I cannot figure out how to do this for the SYSVOL folder. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Do a non authoritative restore (like D2 in NTFRS)...
