SYNC:FastIoRead
Hello guys, Have a server Windows 2000 where Flexcube application (web based) (core banking) is installed. During some performance issues(users are not able to access the web based application or it's very slow ), application team runs a DebugViewer that monitors whether the application is working fine etc. In the log (from the DebugViewer) the application team/vendor has got severals messages related to SYNC:FastIoRead. These errors are covering about 90% of the logs. As per the application team the FastIoRead is not related to their application (Flexcube). Therefore we want to check whether these errors are at OS/Windows level. Do we have any component/stuff like FastIoRead in Windows/OS Level?? Part of the log below: 00000011 0.00157946 SYNC:FastIoRead 00000012 0.00181375 SYNC:FastIoRead 00000013 0.00199065 SYNC:FastIoQueryStandardInfo 00000014 0.00214526 SYNC:FastIoRead 00000015 0.00214526 SYNC:FastIoQueryStandardInfo 00000016 0.00271414 SYNC:FastIoRead Grateful to have a quick response... Thanks.

Hello, FastIoRead or FastIoQuery seems to be related to Windows SystemInternal or Windows driver development. Hence, I am afraid we cannot give you an accurate answer in Windows Server forum. For this query, I suggest you ask here: System Internal forum. http://forum.sysinternals.com/internals_forum9.html Thanks Zhang
