SSRS Report Snapshots

Hi,

I am working on the performance tuning of my SSRS report [ deployed in the SharePoint mode ]

While going through various tips, I came to know about Scheduled Snapshots options.

The option is to create a report snapshot and refresh it at the scheduled times, When a user requests the report, he gets the cached copy/snapshot version of the report stored in the report server database. This will avoid the report  hitting the database every time [ executing the SQL queries every time ] and in effect, helps in performance-enhancement by shortening the time of report execution in case the report is large or accessed frequently .

I would like to use the same for my task. However, I could not find the same solution for SQL SERVER 2012 version

Here's the link I am referring to. In versions I can just see all other SQL server versions except 2012

Kindly suggest if someone has used this before

Cheers
