SSH connection error (Ubuntu server)

Hello,

I created account scom-user on my test Linux Ubuntu server, added account to 3 profiles, installed openSSH, added group scom-user to /etc/ssh/sshd_config, restarted SSH service, added 22 port and others to iptables, tried to telnet 22 port and connect to server from SCOM server using Putty successfully, but discovery does not work with error "SSH connection error" (exit code-1073479115).

Hello,

If you look at the details of the SSH connection error, what does it say? Is it "Server refused to start a shell/command?" If so, I suspect that sftp is not configured/enabled on the Linux server. The discovery wizard uses SFTP to transfer some files to the Linux computer. What do you have defined in sshd_config for Subsystem sftp?
