SQL Sync Provisioning keeps Failing

Hi

I am struggling with provisioning a SQL DB Sync.  the scenario is that I had a Azure SQL DB hosted in East Asia. a sync was setup to a local on-premise SQL server and was functioning perfectly.

I have to then move the DB to North Europe datacenter. once I had move the DB to NE I wanted to re-provision the Sync but now I keep getting the error below:

Database provisioning failed with the exception "Provisioning did not succeed because associated hub might be busy with other provisioning work. Sync Service will retry provisioning during next sync."    For more information, provide tracing ID ebf76f54-e11e-4a59-9b65-68f8fad6ff64 to customer support.

I have done everything from recreating an empty DB on the local SQL, reregistering the DB with the Sync agent, recreating the SYnc Group and even using the "DeprovisioningUtil" to no avail.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

thanks

Hi John,

As the error message said, the database was working on another provision. You can do the provision several minutes later after the previous provision finish.

May I know the latest status of this issue? From our backend, it shows that you've already create a new sync group successfully.
