SQL Server Management Studio would not save customized settings

We have Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Version 10.50.2500.0.

I change to "Results To Text", and "Display Results in a Separate Tab". Then I restart SQL Server Management Studio; and my settings are gone.

Is there a way to save my settings?

Where have you changed the option, in the current query window or under menu "Tools" => "Options"? Only the last Setting will be saved.

Just as Olaf said, it seems that you changed the settings on a query page windows menu as below:

If you want to save the settings for SSMS, we should change the settings at solution page windows menu as below:
