I purchased sql server standard 2014 with five user cal and i can show it in the volume licensing service center relationship summary page but there is no product key, and I downloaded the software from microsoft volume licensing page under keys and download. When I install the software the product is entered automatically but how can i know that my licenses are valid?

When a purchase a Valid volume license Activation/product key is embedded in software, now days I have seen Microsoft puts the keys in SQL server installable so as to avoid the hassle of putting key If you bough valid license I am sure key is genuine no need to worry.

the product key of SQL Server in volume licensing is embedded on the Software. fo rthis reason is not possible to activate the Trial Version with the volume licensing product. you Need just to download the complet product from VLSC. your license is valid with your VL contract number.
