SQL Server 2012: Need to Execute Last Step on a Job on Another Server. How Do I Do This?

Techies--

I have one staging server which acquires and transforms data that I have in 2 ssis steps. I have another SSIS step which needs to be launched on a different server to finish the process.  Will that job step be able to know whether the remote SSIS job completed successfully?

No. Steps in another server willn't be known by different server. If you create a job with different steps it can communicate within that server and even can trigger another job within it.
