Resolved this issue

1) Uninstalled Report Services

2) Uninstalled SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2

3) Rebooted server --- just in case something didn't clean up properly

4) Reinstalled SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2  with Report Services.

5)  Reconfigured Report Services.

Not sure what  happened previously but these steps resolved issues

I had this same issue.

I resolved it by editing rsreportserver.config file.

Changed  <Add Key="SecureConnectionLevel" Value="2"/> to  <Add Key="SecureConnectionLevel" Value="0"/>

Saved the file and restarted reporting services.

File is located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer
