SQL Failover Cluster

Can you please explain how to Assign disk for quorum .

Also Disk means a drive or anything else .

Hello Team

I am trying to create a SQL cluster with two nodes .The cluster is created but when I try to install the SQL over this cluster an error will come that is disk not found.

And when I try to create a Disk from failover cluster Manager it shows following error .

Can anybody help where I was wrong and what are the Troubleshoot steps.

I am using VM with Server 2012 r2

And SQL server 2012

Hi Sunny,

Please follow the steps to troubleshoot the above issue. For more details, please review this similar blog:
http://kb.odin.com/en/9555 .

1.Verify that you are creating a supported clustering configuration in accordance with the relevant instructions in this article.
2. Make sure that the Cluster validation shows all iSCSI drives as valid.
3. Add the disks to the cluster with the help of the cluster command line utility.

After adding the shared disks into Windows cluster successfully, and confirming that the disk resource is independent, install SQL Server failover cluster again.
